Hermia is described as dainty and fair, which may well be her public appearance, but then she is also described as sneaky, impatient and a liar, which may be her private i appearance. If a reader is to believe Helena, then Hermia is a character of two faces, with two different ways of presenting herself to the world. Perhaps she moves lightly in public, but then aggressively and quick in private.
